We’ve used React.js and other javascript framework to build our 2D game and website, as it’s a declarable, efficient and flexible JavaScript library for creating user interfaces. We’ve used Unity 3D (C#) to build Radical Chess Humanoid and our chess metaverse. Unity 3D is the best game development platform, and C# is the best language programming language for Unity. This infrastructure will enable us to continually improve and enrich the Radical Chess universe.
Radical Chess will be cross-platform and cross-chain, as we want our metaverse to be universally accessible with no barriers to entry. With that said, our platform is built on the Binance Smart Chain. We chose Binance Smart Chain for several reasons, including:
Low fees: Average transaction fees are only $0.31 USD per transaction.²²
Speed: A transaction on the Binance Smart Chain rarely takes long. Often, they’re complete in seconds.
Chainstack data shows a transaction speed of 3 seconds.²³
As a cross-chain project native to Binance Smart Chain, Radical Chess ensures maximum accessibility as well as fast, low-cost transactions. Minting NFTs will also be much more cost-effective.
Also importantly, we value long-term sustainability at Radical Chess. We understand the environmental impact of Bitcoin mining, and we know that we need a blockchain with a minimal footprint.
That’s why Radical Chess built on the Binance Smart Chain — and not a network that requires energy-intensive mining. Binance uses a Proof-of-Stake Authority (PoSA) protocol, which is less energy-intensive than Proof-of-Work protocols and even traditional Proof-of-Stake chains. Research shows the Binance Smart Chain consumes a negligible amount of energy per transaction.²⁴
